Unrelated post (ie. not about Lost):

Does anyone know what bridesmaids wear to December weddings (when the temperature is likely to be cold)?

I got married in December and my gift to all the bridesmaids was a black velvet cape to wear over their dresses (which were red). It looked quite elegant and the girls appreciated having something to cover up their arms. Of course, this WAS in NC, where the temperatures rarely get below 30.

My cousin wore a strapless dress to her brother's December wedding, but hey, this is a tropical country :-p ...Seriously, I think the dress should either have sleeves or come with long gloves/a pretty shawl to keep the arms warm, and be made of a warm material, perhaps velvet?

In the UK they traditionally wear the 'normal' short-sleeved bridesmaid's dress but with a furry-type cape around the shoulders (or a pashmina) to keep out the cold (at least, that's what my ex-flatmate's wife told me as the explanation for her bridesmaids' outfits).

I'd go for something in velvet.

By the way, Spielberg wants to make a movie about your man, Abe Lincoln, and is talking with Liam Neeson to star in it. Me, I think it's a stretch (Neeson is hot!) but I'm sure *you* see the resemblance...

Who is the cutie in your icon?
