I'm with you - she didn't look pregnant anymore. Hmmm. I wonder what is going on with her special baby. Boone did seem brainwashed - devout Locke follower. Locke just seems to *know* things - it must stem from his time alone in the jungle when he was out 'hunting boar'.
Why why why in heavens name WHY can't we have a new episode next week!?!!
I thought the same thing about Claire-she was due at almost anytime and it seemed to me that the "others" probably only really wanted her child. Curse you, ABC, for making us wait for a new episode!!
Boone's behavior, along with Charlie's conversation last week with Jack about trusting Locke with his life (or something to that effect), made me think again about when Locke commented to Boone about needing good people on "our side". I'm still not sure what he meant, but find it interesting that while so many find Locke extremely strange, those who trust him really trust him. After tonight's episode, I think Michael falls into the "trusts him" group.
I'm really wondering what was up with that dead bird, and the weird look that Brian gave Walt. Almost made me wonder if Walt had something to do with his mom's death... could Brian had feared for his own life, and that's why he wanted to get away from him ASAP?
And while Michael definitely has some parenting issues, Susan had her own issues. She was way too in a hurry to push Michael out of Walt's life.
Yes, the raft definitely seems like a silly idea.
Definitely Locke seems to be building his own little Shaolin Temple. :) [Off the topic, makes me want to rent the original Kung Fu TV show, heh. I used to love that show.]
And yes, what the hell is up with dishing up a repeat? That that there's ever a good time, but jeez.
I think Claire is still pregnant, although this is deduced from a spoilery promo pic and a description of the next one, not that I still couldn't be wrong.
I'm thinking The Black Rock is interfering with the compass, the weird equations on the map might be because of the distortion. I think the rock might be magnetised iron.
I'm still not 100% convinced the writers are getting everything right, they had a foreign police/marshal wandering around with illegal (as far as I can tell, so not an expert) weaponry he would not be allowed to even bring into the country. The fact they ignored extradition law (he would not be allowed to take her out of the country) is starting to get annoying, not to mention really bad geography. Everything outside the island doesn't seem to be up to the standard of the writing 'on' the island. Although this could be the proof behind the The Outside World/Personal Histories Are Made Up theory.
