Well that was... unexpected.

Best line:

[Sawyer]: Yeah.  Well.  Bygones.

ETA: Did you see the Lost cast on Jimmy Kimmel Live? The bug spray bit was hilarious!

I've also been watching JJ Abrams' Felicity (seasons 2 & 3) on DVD and there appear to be some recurring themes ( Read more... )

Oh Charlie!!! Poor little guy.

I've noticed you'll find many of the same similarities on Alias because of the whole JJ factor. Just so's you know. :D

And BTW, I hope you're staying relaxed and minimizing your stress young lady!!

I had a feeling there would be recurring themes there, too. I didn't see Alias tonight but I noticed in the trailer that she thinks she killed her father.

Well, it's a good thing you didn't see it last night because that was not a very good episode at all. The first season really explored much of her relationship with her father and betrayal and such. The second season dived into her relationship with her mother (who was believed to be dead and also a Russian spy so there were more trust issues). Now the mother is allegedly dead - I say allegedly because nobody can really be counted out on that show and I'm also in denial because I really liked her character.

There are many many more layers to the various themes explored in the show, but quite a bit centers around trust, lies and all that intriguing spy stuff. :D

I actually stayed to watch the first 20 minutes or so... I guess until she was bitten by that insane spy guy in the kitchen cupboard. And then I sort of lost interest. Not that it wasn't exciting, but I think Alias is probably like other shows that are so multilayered and subtle that if you miss a lot of it you can't just jump right in. Maybe I should rent the previous seasons to catch up.

I did see a couple of scenes with Lena Olin and she was brilliant. And I love Lena Olin anyway. She's amazing.

There was a picture of a fetchingly corset-ed Bethany White on the front cover of The Weekend Australian this weekend gone.

They claimed it was Monica Bertolucci, but of course there be no such person in realms that matter.
