Living the broken record

I'm back on the west coast for the second time in three months. This time, I'm doing some work in Seattle. As soon as I stepped off the plane, I felt at home. There's something about being out here that feels really good, though I suspect it's somehow tied in with my sense of innocense and lack of responsibilities that goes with growing up out here ( Read more... )

I honestly know exactly how you feel, except the other coast. Every time I step off a plane back east, I feel so much more at home. The allergies kick in within a few hours, but its totally worth it. Its a sense of "I know this place and this place knows me."

In a similar vein, I'm not looking forward to leaving Australia. I am really loving Melbourne.
