Portrait - Chapter 10 "Why"

Summary: Yunho always tried to make Jaejoong like him.
But, Jaejoong really doesn't like him and always tell Yunho off
So, painfully as it sounds, Yunho mostly makes himself believe the reality he makes when Jaejoong tells him off

Chapter 10 - Why
"Yunho, why?" Jaejoong asked as they dance
"Huh?" Yunho asked confused
"You're avoiding me, right?" Jaejoong asked as he looked straight at Yunho
"What..?? No.." Yunho answered trying to look away
"Yes, you are" Jaejoong insisted
"You're imagining it, Jaejoong" Yunho said with the hint of irritation
"I'm not imagining it and yes, you are" Jaejoong stubbornly insisted
"Whatever. I'll go back now" Yunho said as he walked away from Jaejoong
Donghae noticed it and asked Junsu if he can go back now and told him to go dance with Jaejoong
"Hyung, you okay?" Donghae asked as he reached their table
"Yeah.. I'm okay" Yunho answered with a weak smile
"I'm sorry. I wasn't able to stop Junsu" Donghae apologized and sat beside Yunho
"Not your fault.. It's fine.. I'll just avoid him" Yunho said as he looked at Donghae, forcing a genuine smile
Yunho really did avoid Jaejoong. Not even looking at him

It was hours after midnight when the ball ended. They bade goodbye and Yunho walked towards the parking lot to his car his parents gave him, Jaejoong following behind without him knowing
Yunho got in his car and fixed his seatbelt when the other door of his car opened. To his surprise, Jaejoong sat and closed the door
"Why are you here?" Yunho asked coldly without looking at Jaejoong
"You haven't answered my question, Yunho. Why are you avoiding me?" Jaejoong said
"Get out!" Yunho said with gritted teeth
"Why are you avoiding me?" Jaejoong ignored Yunho's demand
"I SAID GET OUT!!!" Yunho shouted
"ANSWER ME FIRST, YUNHO!" Jaejoong shouted back
Yunho removed his seatbelt, opened his door and got off. Went to Jaejoong's side and opened the door
"I TOLD YOU TO GET OUT!" Yunho yelled as he pulled Jaejoong out
"I TOLD YOU TO ANSWER ME!" Jaejoong yelled back, looking straight at Yunho
"I'm just doing what you told me!! You told me to back off and I did! It hurted me already when you told me to leave you alone! I'm already doing my best to forget my feelings for you and I think I'm doing a really good job at it! What else do you want me to do?! What else do you want me to suffer?? Huh, Jaejoong? What else?!!" Yunho bursted out, anger overtook him
"Yunho..." Jaejoong said softly, speechless
"You know what? I really can't understand you! Just... Just... Forget it. I'm tired of this!" Yunho continued and went back to his car, slammed the door and drove off.
Jaejoong could only stare at Yunho's leaving car

It's been weeks since the 2 talked to each other and this day was no exception
"Chun.." Jaejoong called as they walked towards their classroom
"Why, hyung?" Yoochun asked
"Yunho's not talking to me" Jaejoong answered and looked at Yoochun
"Really? Congrats, then" Yoochun said as they entered the room
"Yes, really and I'm serious here, Chun!" Jaejoong said seriously
"What? You wanted that, right?" Yoochun said and sat down

"Help me" Jaejoong said after he dragged Donghae after class
"With what, hyung?" Donghae asked with concern
"With Yunho" Jaejoong answered
"What??" Donghae asked surprised
"You're close with Yunho. I.. I want to talk to him. Help me" Jaejoong pleaded, almost crying
"I thought you wanted it this way. Yun hyung being not so close with you.." Donghae thought loudly
"I also thought I wanted it this way. Please, help me" Jaejoong pleaded
"I don't know.." Donghae looked unsure
"Please.." Jaejoong continued
"I'll talk to Chun first" Donghae said
