I don't get it, I just don't get it. What is wrong with them? Hmmmmm? Why do men always act stupid or crazy? Are they stupid and crazy? Yesterday, the restaurant was closed for the first time since I have started working here. What does that mean? Mark and I have the same night off. So, he invites me to out and get pizza and beer with him . . . and ( Read more... )

Well, the whole human race acts like idiots. Maybe I feel that way cause I have been snubbed and hurt by both genders. Or maybe I'm a cynical bastard.

I'm sorry, Em. I think its perfectly valid to tell him that when he fails to call or show up for these things, it makes you feel like you are unimportant. I think you should tell him that if he is not serious about going out with you, if he forgets these dates so easily, that he just shouldn't bother. There is no excuse for that behavior. The least he could do is call and tell you he can't or doesn't feel like going out. Sit down and talk to the guy, get some answers out of him. You shouldn't have to put up with this. Its a matter of common courtesy.

Thanks for taking time off your deathbed to console me. I really appreciate it. =0 ) I'm glad you had a good trip out to see Jenny, and am sorry that you got attacked by the evil virus. As for Mark, I think I should just let the whole thing go. I mean if he was really interested I'm sure he would've done something about it by now. It's just that sometimes he looks at me and . . . well, I'm sure you get the point. Oh well. No point in obsessing over it really (as if that'll make me stop).

Well, maybe you are right . . .

The other possible benefit of just letting it go is that he might actually be encouraged by your seeming disinterest. He may double his efforts to talk with you and get together with you. You know: "What you can't have . . . "

And then again, maybe he simply isn't worth your time.

Honey, you're not crazy. Although, I find it funny that you always think that the issue is with you when it seems that Romeo suffered from some really terrible concussion that obviously ruined some really important brain cells. It seems to me, ( ofcourse, I don't really know anything about the mating rituals of humans ) that robearberbil's right. People adore people who ignore them. I'm pretty sure that if you find something else to do and forget all about him, he'll probably start stalking you. One extreme to the other I guess. P.s. It's Irv, I finally made it over to visit. :)
