I love the WInchester attitude when dealing with danger. The whole "oh crap" meets "isn't this just typical" with a hint of "WTF?!?!" You hit the notes perfectly.
Lot of action in this chapter, and it moves nicely. We get a glimpse of how Sam's visions feel, which immediately puts Dean in protective big brother mode. I like how Blair came clean with his stash of Alex info, and the way Sam made the connection between the paintings and Alex's spirit. Also, you gave Sam a reason for having his vision about a perfect stranger - his contact with one of Alex's paintings - nice attention to detail. I like how relieved Sam was, just seeing Dean's name on his cell phone, altho the relief turned out to be short-lived. Dean has some great lines in his conversation with Jim, when they're trying to figure out what's going on. "Alex had a jaguar? As in the cat, not the car?" Jim passing on the flashlight that Dean offered him when they searched the building with the incinerator is a good reminder of Jim's senses. And Jim wanting Sam with him while they searched for Blair made perfect sense to me.
