I got woken up at 2am last night because the residents in a room close to mine were being extremely noisy. Fortunately, my father will recover just fine from his surgery (a problem with his appendix) and should be able to finish the drive to California this coming week. Thank you for those of you who cared enough to give a kind comment, thought, or prayer. Truly appreciated.

I would appreciate adding my father to your prayers / lists as he has been hospitalized due to a burst appendix. My folks were in a small town in Nevada on their way to California while this happened, the town they were in had no surgeon on a Sunday so they air lifted him to Las Vegas where he is now in ICU, he will require up to a 10 day stay...
