That sounds like such a long process, Emily! The sellers of the home sound nice. It's cool that they really wanted you to have the house. And, gosh, a 19th-century find! There must've been some amazing memories made there, and I'm sure you'll make your own as well.
I hope you'll be able to find a full-time design job as good as, if not better than, the one you had back in Hawaii.

Oh I love the brick walls and the contrasting light wooden floor. I love the stained glass of the door and the dark frame. Congrats!!! I am so happy for you two :) Your house is so stylish and unique. I see many things you can do to make it homey and a beautiful home just for the two of you and Poki of course. I am sorry you had to go thru the last 3-1/2 months to get to where you are at now. But once you settle in to your house and your job, when you have time to do all your favorite things, knitting, crafting, and designing, you will feel good again. I can see the rainbow coming!
