Good TV

Community more and more reminds me of Farscape. Characters that should be cliches seem so very real. And be willing to take real chances with the real danger of screwing up badly. But also, giving themselves the chance to do episodes that are truly amazing.

Pulp Fiction morphing into My Dinner with Andre? That's just fucking brilliant.

tv, geekdom, television

Haven't seen yesterday's episode yet but I love this show. The only thing that's rung false for me was the sudden Abed-is-totally-straight-you-guiz episodes from a few weeks ago. But its still one of the consistently best-written shows on TV

I don't know if Abed was portrayed as so much straight as following Troy's lead. Troy loved the librarian, so Abed did too.

And we know that Abed was hit on by a guy during Troy's birthday party. And it didn't bother him - he wasn't interested in the guy other than talking Farscape - but it didn't freak him out at all.
