Bread

If my bread comes out this good all the time, then I'm making bread every week.  The taste, texture and look is incredible.  I just wish I could learn to cut it into uniform slices.  Reference so I don't forget - allrecipes.com - Amish Bread, cut sugar to 1/4 cup.

*sigh*

Yum.

When we first bought a bread machine, my mother-in-law bought a slicing guide for us. You drop the loaf in and slice between hard plastic guides. It's the only way I can get decent slices.

It takes practice, it surely does, but it can be done. I've learned to hold my hand very vertical and can now make a slice about 1/4 an inch thick. Oddly, the thinner the slice, the better it tastes to me. Granted, I'm not a 100 percent accurate, but I'm getting much better. I know you, and have no doubt that you will perfect the skill.

Just a suggestion. It might be similar to eacole72's.

Or there's another one. :-)

www.sliceit.com is where I found both of those. They apparently link to amazon.com.

Hope that's helpful.
