Last week I talked about the pottery I am doing, and tried to describe it
here. Now I have some photos! I regret not getting pictures of some of the cooler pieces I've already given away, but it's ok. I'm addicted to pottery now, so I'll make more and take some pics of them.
This is my first slab piece.. a fruit bowl perhaps?
I like its three little feet. They keep it nice and stable.

I first tried little feet on a change dish I made during one of my initial classes. Unlike most things I made at the beginning, I use this piece a lot. I keep my texas hold'em poker money in it. We play hold'em way too often at my house. Note the dimes: I won tonight!

Here is the dip plate. It is probably the most difficult thing I've thrown so far. It's about 28 cm or 11" across and about 4 cm or 1.5" high. It took me a few tries to get the technique right, but I quite like the way it turned out.

This bowl is, in my opinion, the neatest thing I've made so far. My teacher didn't tell me how involved this would get. It's about 25 cm or 10" across. Hrm.. the colours suck on these. It's actually a very pretty blue/green mix.

Goblets I made in one of my earlier classes. I quite like goblets in general and have bought a few that were hard to resist at this great local art store. As for these, I would shape them a little differently now, but this was the best I could get my little hands to do back then. They're pretty good for cheap red wine. =)
