...this whole flooding thing is. Reminds me of New Orleans, I mean, minus the dying and drowning poor people bloated and floating around the city.

Pretty much... one of my friends from out of the country asked me if people were looting... I just sat there stunned... all i could think of to say was "no, this is Iowa......" Which I guess sounds bad... but really, that's all I could think. It is nuts.

Went to the red cross meeting today, Katrina was rated a 6 on their scale, this is the biggest disaster since - bigger than the california fires - and is rated at a 5.
