It is ridiculously hot.

Despite the heat, I got out twice on Saturday - once to work out and once to have an fairly disappointing cheat meal at a seafood restaurant, Rockfish. I couldn’t decide what I wanted, ended up with a fried shrimp basket and didn’t really like it. I can’t point to much that was actually wrong with it, other than the ( Read more... )

Haven't had a chance to watch either show yet, but honestly, when NFNS didn't eliminate Aaron, it spelled rig. Not only did he blow the easiest commercial, he made mediocre, boring food. It's just, WTF?

Good thing I don't watch the shows :P

Design Star is worth watching, if you get the chance.

NFNS was truly WTF. I can't believe they're bothering with another season of their fake competition, but apparently, they are.

Edited because I seem to have left my ability to use correct grammar, spelling and diction at home today. :(

Yeah, it's on the DVR. I was so wiped from Comic Con, I didn't feel like it.

NFNS has been a joke to me for a while now, so I can't say I'm surprised.

Actually, what I'm really excited about is the return of Top Design. Derivative, yes, but IMHO, a much stronger show than Design Star because of higher budge and more individual challenges.

I'm sure Comic Con was a lot more fun.

I'm excited about Top Design, too. I didn't see the first season of it, but it sounds much better, just as Top Chef is a lot better than NFNS or Hell's Kitchen. I'm not used to having this much good stuff to watch in the summer.

Hi Liz come to CT for a week of vacation when you can it is never 108 degrees here!

You are doing way better than I am on the pushups!

Thank you for putting the LJ link on your facebook I have tried to get in this thing before and could never go through the tedious setup process but finally had the patience to do it. So now I have your LJ and can comment on it!

We had thai food for dinner last night on the theory that it would jump start me (like your cheat days) it did no good whatsoever i have gotten stuck for whatever reason. it is frustrating. any advice, send it along.

I wish I could come up there now, but I have almost no vacation time left. Next year, though, I would like to visit in the spring or early summer. Partly to see you and David and the puppies, but also there's an amusement park not too far from you that I'd like to go to, Lake CompounceI didn't do so well on the pushups yesterday. I didn't even try regular pushups and just did some girlie pushups. But I'll try again tomorrow ( ... )
