I created one, but now I'm a little iffy on the concept. Specifically I feel reluctant to add books to my "shelf" that I've read but disliked!

Hmmm. You could just not add those? I noticed that it is possible to review the books you've read, but there isn't an "I hated it!!!" category on the shelf. Maybe we should suggestion that. *eg*

I'm afraid that's what I'll do as well. It could be helpful, but only if I remember to do something with it from time to time.

Maybe now that I actually have all my books all out where I can see them, I'll actually do it. I REALLY want one of those things we used to take inventory at Barnes & Noble, where you just had to punch in the ISBN and they would all be in there. Since half the books I have are out of print, I have to enter everything manually or else look for a newer edition on Amazon and use that ISBN.
