Last week, I applied for a First Reader gig at Strange Horizons, and just now, I've received an acceptance e-mail. I'll be starting my trial month with them ASAP. I'm so excited about this!

(For the record, this is the job. heavenscalyx, thank you so much for giving me the heads-up about it!) I love me some slush pile, completely unabashedly and un-ironically
