Not being 100% sure of how this whole thing works I will take a minute or so to have a drink and type out some more crap. See how it goes or whatever. My mother bought me a wonderful $60 corkscrew for my birthday... of the several things I mentioned I might've desired to have for my birthday I found it odd that she chose that one as the gift. Really, though, what are we SUPPOSED to be doing? Admittedly there are things that are definite wastes of time when pursued for too long; but don't we even get a few minutes a day to reflect on its events, or can't we even just have a cup of COFFEE?? (...seinfeld ref.)
I also think if you write about something enough, it forces you to look at the reality of it. and ps, don't get consumption

Isn't consumption just another word for tuberculosis? Sadly there was a day when I could have just looked that kind of shit up on my computer but when the ex reconfigured it to be in the 21st century I lost all my downloaded dictionaries and I am simply too too lazy to walk into the other room to look it up. Ah, the trials of living in an apartment that is both too expensive and too large for your lifestyle. Except that I can afford it.

No, sorry, but it's cirrhosis you are thinking of that drinkers get (amongst others {junkies}) - consumption is pulmonary tuberculosis, only more Victorian (read polite) sounding. One can't help being a know it all, you know.

wow, this is one relationship i never would have imagined. nick and cindi...on...livejournal!? i like your black bird. also, im 21 now and almost every day wonder how long ill actually last as an artist, plus how i will ever manage to make any money without living with my goddam parents or something.
