Year in review
1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?: I drank until I threw up. That's an achievement, huh?
2. Did you keep your New Years resolutions, and will you make more for next year?: My journal says from 1-1-04 says "No real resolutions this year. They never really work anyway. Eh." I'm so wise.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?: Claudine had Alexa.
4. Did anyone close to you die?: No.
5. What countries did you visit?: I was not well travelled this past year. No foreign experiences for me.
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?: A 4.0, but that won't happen. Um... a full time job in the summer. A boyfriend.
7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory and why?: My birthday was really fun.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?: Sad as it may be, passing organic. And maybe getting my national license.
9. What was your biggest failure?: 47.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?: I had a miserable cough for like the first two months of the year.
11. What was the best thing you bought?: I contributed toward my car, if that counts.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?: Most of my friends have done merit-worthy things.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?: I won't go there...
14. Where did most of your money go?: I wish I knew.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?: My River, passing organic, passing my national exam, school starting again, moving into Dorr.
16. What song will always remind you of 2004?: Boom, I Fucked Your Boyfriend. (Not because anything like that happened though.)
17. Compared to this time last year, are you happier or sadder? I could go either way...
18. thinner or fatter?: I believe I've lost a few pounds.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?: Saving money, studying.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?: Wasting time on the internet, but I just can't help that.
20. How did you spend Christmas?: At Claudine's with the family.
22. Did you fall in love in 2004?: Yeah right. No.
23. How many one night stands?: ahhahaha. None of those.
24. What was your favorite TV program(s)?: The OC, American Dreams, Idol.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?: I don't hate, but yes, there are people who I dislike.
26. What was the best book you read?: All I read were two chick novels and those filled up my year, sad as that may sound.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?: I don't have a greatest one of those.
28. What did you want and get?: A new car, although I didn't know I wanted that until I knew it was an option.
29. What did you want and not get?: A 4.0.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?: Shrek II, The Garden State, Fahrenheit 9/11
31. What did you do on your birthday?: Lisa, Amanda, Kristen and Justine came down to URI and slept over. We got yelled at. I got party boomed.
32. What was one thing that would have made your year more satisfying?: Doing better in school, last spring and this fall.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?: Umm... I didn't wear ugly things.
34. What kept you sane?: Stephanie and talking to my friends from home.
35. Which celebrity did you fancy the most?: Adam Brody.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?: It was an election year, people.
37. Who did you miss?: Amanda.
38. Who was the best new person you met?: I met Angela in class. She's cool. I think she's the only one. I'm a hermit.
39. What's a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004: Your friends are always there for you.
