No, I'm not dead, though I had a scare that my car might be this weekend. turns out the wastegate housing was simply loose, allowing all sorts of compressed air to escape instead of flowing nicely from the intercooler to my snail of speed. It's scary to suddenly lose half of your boost and hear a terrible, terrible rasping noise coming from your engine compartment. All fixed by myself now though.

Oh, and yeah, the new WRX does little more than make people who want to sell their 07's happy that they just went up in value.
