My car came today.  Luckily for me, it's illegal to drive it right now since I cannot get proper registration and such until after I return from the East Coast.  So of course I did not drive it about 30 miles today and I did not enjoy ridiculous acceleration and turns and I was not encouraged by my mother to practice going from stopped to the top ( Read more... )

I might buy a car tomorrow.  If I do, it ought to get here in about 10 days, maybe a bit more.  If I do, Peter will bitch and moan about responsibility.  And I won't give a shit. 

There are so many causes of toil with which I must do daily battle, and these troubles amount to no less than nine and ninety, but of all the toils I face, not one of these toils is the fault of a woman.
