Not feeling the love

My proposal got turned down for Portus as well. Rats. So now I will just have to look for a job instead of preparing a scholarly paper, LMFAO. Congrats Ange for your proposal. I'm looking forward to it and I think it will be very popular.

WTF?!?!?! OMFG, that is so fucking RETARDED! I bet you anything it's because Steve is going to be presenting and they don't want a conflict with his bitch-ass. Fucking suck.

Ah, well... You all can join me up front at mine :D

That is sweet, but you deserve to be up there alone as you came up with a great topic.

No no no... You all have to be up there with me. A) because I wouldn't be doing this without you all inspiring my brains, and B) because I have hideous stage fright XD

Of Course I will be up there if you need the support. I don't think of you as someone who has stage fright, you are a strong and capable person to me.

Jk Rowling v RDR (Lexicon Book) mlogansrun February 16 2008, 21:22:37 UTC
You would have loved it. I was going to prepare an analysisof the trademark infringement Case and hoped to make the point that JK Rowling has been so generous by allowing such freedom for people to write fan fic and post her info. I was going to look up other authors who do sue and compare them to Jo. It would have been a lot of work and I was going to work with my trademark professor on it for possible publication in a law review.

Perhaps the topic was toooo controversial, n'est pas? XD

Oh, that would have been so much fun to read! You should write it anyway.
I don't know if it would be too controversial, or just too boring for non-lawyers.

We should make a video of you doing your piece anyway and put it on YouTube. I think that would be AWESOME!

Yikes me on a video. mlogansrun February 18 2008, 17:29:16 UTC
I would have to prepare it first, which will take hours. It's a thought.

I totally agree with these guys. Despite whatever reason Portus turned it down, you could still TOTALLY do it for YouTube. That would be fascinating...

But seriously, I was going to do a scholarly writing approach, which would literally include hours of searching case law and statute law to support my argument. It really would be a lot of work. I am so glad I did not sign up for the class at Boyd School of Law for advanced trademark and copyright law. It cost $1350, lol. Wait, that is probably why I did not sign up. My proposal was probably too flip anyway and they wouldn't know if I would be flaming the Ark (snickers), which I would not have done, btw.

It is me, I forgot to sign up before posting. Can you tell I don't use this site very often?
