When I sarted reading this poem, I imagined a big supermarket where american families used to shop in the evening. Why in California? Because there are many products in the stores from California, especially fruits.I didn't know the names of Walt Whitman or Federico Garcia Lorca. I noticed that Ginsberg described Walt Whitman in an interesting way

The author did a great choice of choosing the correct plots for the story. When an author exposes a exact location instead of leaving it a mistery, this gives the reader a more clear sense of the story. I was able to envision the story better in my head once I knew the location. I loved how it talked about fresh produce because it reminded me of summer!
