YOUR PERSONALITY
5 Positive adjectives about yourself: Determined, Creative, Honor, Honest, and Humorous
5 Negative adjectives about yourself: Sensitive, Judgmental, Prideful, Temperamental, and Impatient.
What are your strengths? Working in the last minute/under pressure, relating to people, having a "feel" for the arts, organizing (when the mood hits me right)
What are your weaknesses? Keeping in contact with other people (I tend to just straight up forget unless they're right in front of me), STAYING organized (I tend to procrastinate and if I have a LOT to do, I get kind of lazy and halfass things sometimes), being defensive/taking things personally, resisting delicious chocolate
EITHER OR
Inside or outside? How about a good balance? Indoors is nice for those times when I just kind of want to curl up, be alone, and surf the internet/read or whatever, but I can't deny that I love so many parts of the outdoors-- I love the peace of nature. Foresty, park areas are great and beautiful, and I have a very strong connection to the coastline and beach areas. I adore the ocean.
High, low or medium energy? Mostly low, with bursts of happiness that can sometimes push me into the medium or high crowd. I'm not crazy; by all means, my best friends are (in Mythbuster terms) the Adams of my life, while I'm much more of a Jamie, but if I'm awake and in a good mood, I can really get going talking, or ranting, or joking and laughing… and if someone brings up a topic I really enjoy talking about (like Harry Potter, or My Little Pony… :P), I have been known to flail in excitement on occasion. XD
Familiar or exotic? Familiar. I don't mind studying or experiencing the exotic, but I like to be able to know that I'll eventually be able to return to my normal life. I like to sit and think about things sometimes, and I find that when you are CONSTANTLY experiencing new things all around you, you have no time to really reflect on anything due to how hard you're trying to keep up.
Dressy/Flamboyant or casual/relaxed in style? Somewhere in the middle. I like to wear nice blouses, a bit of makeup, some pretty jewelry (stuff from Claire's lol, I'm not big on expensive jewelry), jeans/the occasional long skirt, and… for shoes, lately its been either flats or flip flops. I've totally rocked the t-shirt/jeans/Converse shoes look in the past, but I'm trying to break away from that a bit, if only to feel better about myself.
Early riser or sleep in? I always sleep in. As much as I enjoy the quiet, waking morning, the fact is that more often than not, I'm usually going to bed around that time. The world is loud and obnoxious when you live in an apartment complex with cardboard-thin walls; 2AM onwards is oftentimes the only time that everyone has finally shut up and I can think and work in peace.
Traditional or modern? I'd guess my attitude towards other people is pretty modern-- I want people to be able to be free to make choices, and I want everyone to have the same rights. I want as little government interference in peoples' lives as possible. But I am nostalgic. I do have my little rituals that I enjoy doing, and if I don't get to go home for the holidays to be with my family and do the same thing I've always done since I was born, I get really sick and upset. I guess it's a middle-of-the-road thing.
Hot tempered or cool headed? Hot tempered. I've been letting go of things easier than I used to lately, but please do not argue with me or attempt to discount my feelings in an argument. I get REALLY REALLY upset. It's rude to tell people who are being honest with you that you don't believe them/that their feelings are not justified. (lol sorry, I saw an argument like this last night between friends and it REALLY pissed me off)

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR PREFERRED ENVIRONMENT, HABITS, ETC.
1. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I think I'd go back home and live in Houston Texas, maybe a little closer to the coast in the nicer areas. That's kind of dangerous, I suppose, but eh, hurricanes haven't taken us out yet, so whatever! I'd like to visit a ton of different places around the world, but when it really comes down to it, I'd like to live somewhere where I don't feel foreign and unaccepted, and where better than the places I grew up around?
2. When you go out to eat, what sort of foods do you usually gravitate toward?
SPICY THINGS. :D I love spicy things. … except wasabi, boo wasabi. >>
3. Do you often feel a close connection with other people?
If by often you mean with any person I meet, no. But if you mean often as in over and over again with the few people I've found a good connection with, then yes. I feel VERY close to some people. In a way, that closeness tends to define my life.
4. Where are you most comfortable?
Living in a coastal area, with access to shops and such, but perhaps without as much people just always in my face. Like I've mentioned before, I like the quiet.
5. Oh no! Someone just slapped you across the face! How do you react?
Stunned. No one has ever hit me before! I have quick reflexes too, so I have a hard time believing I wouldn't have blocked it somehow (I mean, there's a reason I've never been hit). I suppose that if they kept trying to come at me, I'd try to shove them and then back away from them. And I'd be yelling at them. "WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM?!" I don't like violence; it doesn't solve anything. :|
6. What has been the most rewarding experience of your life thus far?
Moving off to school. I've already learned so much, met so many new people, figured out emotionally how to live on my own… I'm always still learning and needing help, but I've grown so much since living at home 2 years ago.
7. What is the most unique thing about you?
Probably my honesty and ability to really look inside of myself and others. When I see friends struggling, I've got no problem being there and trying to help them look deep into their personalities. I've had people fill out stamping applications like these and be unable to answer the positive traits questions about themselves, and I've always stepped in to help with these things. I've had people tell me I'm a magnificent friend, because I like to look deep inside of people and find the good in them. Really, I think we all have something good about us, and I like to point those things out to people so that they can cling to it and give it the opportunity to allow themselves to shine.
Anything else? Umm… nope!
