Wow it's been ages! I can't promise I'll get any better but I'll try! Anyway, for a taste of what's been keeping me so busy, pop
Christmas was odd and rather forgettable mostly because Calum went back to his parents and I stayed here. Luckily that will never happen again because we'll be married by next Christmas :)
A couple of weeks after that he and Mummy and I went up to Scotland for a week's holiday, and as we were only staying about an hour away from his parents Mummy finally got to meet his dad! (His mum has been to stay quite a few times already) a few photos from the trip:
The snow at the service station level with Glasgow where we stopped for lunch.
But then this was the road about 45 minutes away from our cottage:
It snowed that night though and didn't go away all week, so this is what we saw every day:
It may have looked like Narnia but it was blooming freezing!!!!!!
I took some sewing with me, of course! But didn't get nearly as much done as I'd like :/ I'm making an embroidered waistcoat for Calum for the Bath Minuet company ball in March. The pattern:
I've got lots done, but probably still only just over half - the bottoms have decoration all round the hem and around the pocket flaps....

After the ball I'm planning to start my wedding dress! We went up to Scotland via the lake distract so we could stop a couple of nights to visit a lace factory to look at fabric for my dress :)
In the mean time I've been frantically trying to get my invitations finished so we can post them, and last week several huge boxes of silk flowers were delivered for the table centres:
Just before Christmas I discovered that I can't fit into some of my jeans any more, so we've all been trying to eat healthier, and this is one of the definitely repeatable new experiments!
Quinoa fritters with sweet potatoes, Grated beet root and carrot, sweet corn, cabbage, ginger, smoked paprika and a little bit of sriracha :) so yummy!!!
Then this last week I've been stuck off work sick with what seems suspiciously like flu :( but hopefully I'm starting to get better now (although, I thought the same yesterday, then I woke Calum up at 5 this morning with dilerious ramblings and have felt like I've been running marathons all day...) Oh well!!
