The State of Sky

The State of SkyTV

Crap, wanted to post this in November, but got sidetracked by editing deadlines and writing. And court has been batshit insane since like July, so Monday through Wednesday are utter brain dead days for me. The good news is I'm pretty sure I can now write judgment entries in my sleep, even if Legalese is still like a foreign ( Read more... )

No wonder I'm still following you - the only show on your list that I don't watch is SoA. Never even sampled it - don't have room for more series at this point. The other 2 that I'm still having a lot of fun watching are Once Upon A Time and Vampire Diaries - both so chock-full of pulpy goodness. :)

Hope you're enjoying the fall finales! I'm going to be so sad when Fringe is finished - Joel Wyman just tweeted that they're finishing up the editing on the finale next week. At least I'll have Downton Abbey to hold onto when Fringe ends. Poor Etta! :(

I'm so behind. I LOVE Arrow - but I'm behind, and I'm really bad with the names LOL Other than Arrow and his bodyguard/sidekick.

The jury is still out on his best friend, and his sister annoys me. LOVE Laurel's Dad though. Oh and Arrow's mom? don't like her, but in a good way, you know? Kinda like I didn't like Tigh's wife LOL.

LOVE Haven - totally behind LOL. Not sure where the Sheriff is going hooking up with the tattoo people.

I may actually try to watch Fringe from the beginning when it finishes. We'll see.

Glad the job is going well for you :D

Hi! Long time, no see! Just wanted to mention that Science Channel is doing a run of all of the Fringe eps over a period of ~6 weeks with little 'Science of Fringe' interludes by John Noble on Tuesdays. It's partway through the second season now, but if you want to rewatch from the beginning, here's an easy way... Hope you're doing well!

Hi! Long time no see indeed.

That would be awesome if I could get the Science channel LOL. We're living in Germany right now and while we get some stuff like ESPN America sadly we don't get the Science channel.

Hope things are going well for you too!

I'm so happy you LOVE Arrow too!! I'm hoping Thea gets a little more to do other than snark. And Tommy could go either way. Depending on what happens with his dad...and I'll stop there until you're completely caught up. :)

Yeah, Quentin is pretty awesome. I love his interactions with Oliver, especially when Ollie tends to be very respectful and polite. It's like Quentin has no idea how to deal with that version. LOL

Moira, yeah. *nods* I totally get what you're saying. I'm really interested in how things play out with her. And again...gonna stop there. LOL

Ohh...I think you'll be intrigued by Nathan's interactions with the Guard (or Guardians...the tattoo people). It's an added layer to the goings on in Haven.

I deffo recommend watching Fringe if you get the chance. Great show!!

OMG! Haven!!! I have actually ventured into a live online fandom for this show. It's very small (at least here in LJ) so I feel safe enough.

I too was kind of disappointed that Tommy turned out to be TBK but not entirely surprised. I liked him. I would love to hear your theory though because I have a couple. Actually I have a bunch of theory a couple of which are related to TBK.

I need to catch up on Fringe. I'm enjoying this season more than the last, by a long shot. But the final season aspect makes it hard for me to commit. I wish we'd gotten this season (or something like it) a while ago.

I'll have to give Arrow another try and really watch. A lot of people like it. I've found it a bit clunkily written but maybe that's stylistic. I have no comic book experience so it's all new to me and I enjoy the kind of stories comic adaptations tell.

I'm guessing you haven't seen the Haven episode from Friday yet. (I actually just finished watching it instead of getting to work at a reasonable time. ;)

I did. I stayed up for it though instead of watching this afternoon, which would explain any potential confusion. My theories are based on new developments from Friday.

Also, that's a really great icon.:)

Thanks! It's my favorite icon. (An oldie but goodie. :)

My understanding from the end of the last Haven ep was that Tommy wasn't TBK, he was killed by TBK soon after his arrival in Haven and skinned, then TBK wore Tommy's skin to confuse everyone. So we've definitely seen TBK, but not necessarily in his natural skin. I am starting to get a little confused about what's going on with all of the plot lines this season, though I did love how basically the Colorado Kid's parents are Audrey and Nathan (even though Nathan figured that out and didn't tell Audrey. Bad Nathan!)

Did you get something else from that episode that I missed?

Yay Castle and Arrow! Enjoying both :) Glad to see I'm not alone in my Arrow love. I'm also watching Revolution still, although the acting really sucks and Once upon a Time.
