Though it crept by with nary a sound, I recently celebrated by 3rd year at my present place of employment (I believe the official date was the 5th). My boss had my annual review for me today. I always have mixed feelings about reviews. On one hand it usually means a raise (as it did in this case...huzzah 5%!). On the other hand, it also means

Congrats on the raise! I can understand your dilemma. I've been such a slacker myself lately that I can see not wanting to take on more work. Then again, you never know. The challenge might be a good thing in the long run.
