Who: Levi, Gazille What: Levi ~Heroically Rescues~ Gazille from the island he's stranded on. Where: Some random island on the Grand Line When: The morning of the 12th Status: Closed; in progress
To be honest, Gazille wasn't expecting to hear from anyone, let alone Levi. He just figured he was alone in this new world, had been for well over a month. He really wasn't one to hope for a familiar face either. He took his blows and went about his way in the only way he knew how. His way. It worked for a time, till he began picking up bounties to make fast Beri and pissed off some pirates in the process. Which, coincidentally, was the very reason he was now stranded

Levi didn't slow down until she was standing right in front of Gazille. She looked up - and up, but Levi was used to an intimidating height difference - and balked, realizing suddenly and in glaring detail just how roughed up he was. She almost reached out to touch him, a concerned impulse, but stopped herself; that seemed...a little awkward, and probably unwelcome.
"Of course I did," she said instead, trying to quickly assess whether Gazille was in any immediate danger of collapse. "You don't look very good," she pointed out, unnecessarily. "Um, have you had much to eat? You're probably thirsty; come on, I have water and some medical supplies and stuff--"
She'd been in the process of gesturing to the boat and turning to walk toward it when it occurred to her that Gazille might still have belongings he'd need to pick up. "Do you have everything? What about, um - did the rest of your clothes make it?"
He remained still and silent as she looked him over. The only thing that moved was the shift of his eyes to her out stretched hand, waiting... watching. It was unusual to him that anyone would take so much concern in his well being. That she would rush to his aid without any more reason than they were of the same Guild. Nakama... he had to wonder if anyone in Phantom would have really considered him that. They only loved him for his strength and cowered otherwise

Levi looked back at the broken ship and nodded decisively. "Okay," she said. "You go back to the boat and have some water, and I'll go get your stuff, okay?" She paused, noting the way he'd taken a moment to answer her - maybe he was kind of delirious? That could be a sign of heat exhaustion...
Absently, Levi reached up and pressed the back of her hand to Gazille's forehead. He did seem kind of warm, but that might just be a slight sunburn. She tsked thoughtfully. "Do you need help getting there?" she asked.
