[The camera switches on to reveal a large feathered head staring intently at the screen.  When the seagull moves away, it reveals Kiki standing in the bird's nest of the ship.  Several other seagulls sit on the banister around her, cawing happily as she feeds them pieces of bread and leftovers from the day's pancakes

U-Uh, not quite yet, I'm still working on it. It's harder than it looks...

Does being able to talk to birds have something to do with your magic?

Yes, but it can apply to all animals. As a witch, we usually have an animal companion that goes everywhere with us and we are able to talk to them with our witching powers.

Well sure, they're not evil... but they're annoying.

Most of the birds around here are seagulls.

In large groups yes, but one on one they're kind of cute.
