I just finished listening to the most WONDERFUL story - Water for Elephants. I could not put it down (or however you say that about a recorded book). The narrators are great - one for the young man and one for the old man. Wow. You must get it. I have just purchased The Glass Castle from Audible.com after a recommendation from a trusted source. If we ever meet face to face, we must talk about this painting thing. I always liked drawing but never quite made it into painting, other than tempera and acrylics stuff in general art classes in school. I sure never "got" watercolors, so it's cool that I now know someone who loves them. (That workshop sounds like it has lots of potential. Very cool.)

Perhaps we have met? I will be at Minicon, with my paints set up en suite. I would love to chat if you are there. Or in town at some other time perhaps.

I'm hoping to make it up for Minicon. I haven't been to Mpls. since Xmas 2002, back when what's-his-name was single and living down the street from my friend Barb.
