Well, it is so strange being on strike. My union, the AFSCME clerical workers of the U of M, have been on strike since September 5. This is the second time in 4 years that we have had to go to these lengths to get a decent wage, in the face of humongous increases in salaries for administration folks. And, well, plenty of money for stadia, it seems

Amen. Because paying people a living wage or just keeping vaguely in line with inflation is too hard but by all means have another f@ckin stadium. I hate that.

I sent an email to the president which will probably get as far as a secretary but I tried. I wish you all the best during this crap.
