You sound like my type of biker! Five miles is a lot for me when I first get the bike out in the spring, but I'm going to try to work up to riding to work (at least once!) this summer. That would be about 25 miles round trip, which is why I'm not silly enough to think I could do it NOW. I was riding to work regularly by the end of last summer, so it's not unreasonable to think that I could do it again. Work was at a different place back then, of course. That one was about 21 miles round trip.

If you feel like going on a nice, leisurely bike ride in the up-to-10-mile range, let me know.

Any chance you'd think of getting the elliptical trainer earlier than that? I'm trying to shed some [winter dinner + movie w/ bf]s myself and my aerobics sessions just ended. Seeing as you do have the perfect work-out area, I'd love to stop by for an ellipsing a few days a week. Perhaps Memorial Day rather than DST? Let me know what you think. Love, L
