Egad! Zoot! Crapola! I am in a "temporary" office until August (feels permanent when you look at it that way...) here at the University of TCF. I mean Twin Cities... I have the following things surrounding me

Put a nice little picture in eye-sight that you can look at for relief and imaginary escape. And maybe wear sun glasses. Maybe earplugs would be good. Fresh flowers are always a nice addition. Lunds has a nice variety in inexpensive bouquets $4-6.
Thanks for the suggestions. I do have a few plants and I have been wearing my sunglasses and visor in the afternoons when the sun is shining in my eyes. :-( I think I will try the flower idea - they are in abundance finally, and I will bring my earplugs, too.

You will just love this: I did happen to stroll over to your building (out to catch some fresh air and saw you going into the building, I think) a little while ago. I did not know about the lockdown, but was immediately stopped in my tracks by the police: "State your business, show your credentials," he cooed. I sez, "Whut?", he sez, "State the reason that you need to be in this building." I sez, "Uh, well, I don't really need to be in this building." At that moment, another guy in a suit with a walkie talkie yells, "She's OK. They just called!" Cop #1 ushered me in with a "Sorry, ma'am. Thanks for your cooperation." I was so abashed that I figgered I had better go into the building or they would really be suspicious. So I went up to Sandra's to hide out till the buzz settled down! I couldn't get onto your floor, as there were more police at that door! Phew! Exciting walk - I'll try again another day.

Oh, this is rich! It's just getting worse and worse over here...three weeks of being grilled, we're told. "Paranoia strikes deep; into your flesh it will creep!" Or whatever it creeps into.
Well, we must get together before you go back to West Bank.
