The rules of this meme are as follows:
Comment to this post, and I will list seven things I want you to talk about. They might make sense or they might be totally random. Then post that list, with your commentary, to your journal.

I was interviewed by xlovebecomesher; my answers are below:

2) If you had to choose one place to live in for the rest of your life, where would it be and why?
3) Forest or river (and why)?
4) What is your favorite and least favorite thing about science?
5) You seem to enjoy taking lots of pictures; what do you like about them in particular?
6) What would you say is the tastiest thing ever?

UGH THE REFERRAL CODES. I remember waiting months to get this journal via a friend, and then when you got a journal, you "owed" that friend a referral code back so they could invite a friend and it took me something like six whole months just to get a referral code to make a stupid boyband community back in 2002 which I inevitably abandoned.

What kind of finances are you thinking about working in?

Also, hit me!

What pissed me off the most was not the $2 cost (I could easily afford paying 2 dollars to join) but the fact that in January of 2002, I was FOUR MONTHS too young to use a credit card and that was the only way they would let me pay online (and, at the time, my parents were still nearly paranoid of the *idea* of online interaction... even with me living a few hundred miles away at college it would still be a year and a half before I got them to view "people on the Internet" and "creepy serial killers" as essentially disjoint sets, so there was no way I could ask to use their credit card number for this) so I had to physically mail in the $2 check all the way across the country by snail mail and wait several weeks for it to FINALLY be received.

As for finance, probably wherever I would be able to excel (read: something that isn't so conformity-intensive that they care about the direction the stripes of your tie is pointing - and an environment where I would NOT have to spend 100 hours a week at the office regardless of what 'work' I ( ... )

7) If you had the option to go back in time 5 or 10 years, knowing what you know now, and make different decisions, would you choose to do it?

I think you still owe me answers from the last time I gave you this meme, so some of these may very well be repeats...

1) What is the most important thing I should know about you?
2) Forest or river (and why?)
3) Fire, ice, or lightning (again, and why?)
4) How does it feel to be a post-college adult?
5) If you could choose one place to live for the rest of your life, where would it be?
6) What is your biggest pet peeve?
7) What do you most want to happen within the next year?
