Well, it sounds like there were much more people than years past so coming in 16th place is okay especially since they changed up the events (sans breaks, etc)

I feel like my performance wasn't bad at all, especially in light of all my health struggles... I was hitting or almost hitting my goals in every event after all! The whole process is still extremely frustrating (especially with a memory sport world that doesn't particularly value my skill set) but... the fact that I was nowhere near qualifying even though I *did* meet my goals is even more frustrating as it makes it harder to see a path forward to qualifying (unless my best events come back next year!)
Think of it like you're doing some speed track and field event and, to qualify, you literally need to go twice as fast as you had to in order to qualify the year before...

Oh okay, that does make sense. I guess that along with the event change up and the added number of people made placing extremely impossible
