I have to say I am torn.  They say if you don't have your health you have nothing.  And that is true enough, this tinnitus makes me consider suicide at least once per day.

But the real thing my life misses is human connection.  I have no job, I never see anyone.  Given my choice of seeing a human being once a frigging day and having my teeth back

Dang, you are not wrong about either point. I need to try harder to stay in good touch with friends. It’s so easy to get focused on other pursuits, but good people make things better for sure. Tinnitus is kind of terrifying to me. My mom has suffered with it and I fear I may be predisposed. Reading you here has triggered a bit for me, and I know it will soon be drowned out by other things but it is one of those things that’s scary to consider. I hope yours loosens its grip and slides away.

tinnitus must be dreadful. sorry that it makes you feel this way. I definitely agree that hell is a very cold and desolate place.
