When a girl/boy....the 'jaded' remix.
So, I've been seeing this float around myspace for a while in a different overly mushy form. I copied it and filled it in with the appropriate answers as they apply to me:
Girl facts(as they apply to me):
When a girl bumps into your arm while walking she wants:
-To playfully start some shit with you, ie: she want you to kick or punch at her so she can knock you down on the ground and beat on you for a bit. This makes her happy.
When she wants a hug:
-You just think she wants a hug...Generally, she doesn't 'do' hugs. They invade her personal space bubble.
When u break a girls heart:
-You won't.
When a girl is quiet:
-She is sleeping, at all other times she is blabbering away like an idiot :-)
When a girl is not arguing:
-See above statement.
When a girl looks at you with eyes full of questions:
-She is preparing to ask a lot of questions. Since she's looking at you, that means she is not sleeping... therefore, be prepared for a whole lot of talking on her part... Some of it might make sence :-) You dont have to really listen, just nod at appropriate times.
When a girl answers, "I'm fine, " after a few seconds:
-The pain from the last punch, kick, or tap is starting to recede and she's ready to comtinue with whatever y'all were doing.
When a girl stares at you,
-She's wondering what her chances are against you in a fight. And how much she's going to have to cheat to win.
When a girl lays her head on your chest,
- She's having a very fleetingly 'girly' moment. Don't worry, it won't last long. And if you refer to it later she will physically hurt you and/or call you names.
When a girl says that she can't live without you:
- She's breaking her own rules. It takes an act of God to get her to say something like this. And, since she's an atheist, that's a pretty extreme act.
When a girl says, "I miss you, "
- She missed you. But, don't feel too warm and special, she misses chocolate and ice cream too. Everything's relative.
When a girl is mean to you after a breakup:
- She's exremly frustrated by something childish that you've just done. She's only mean if you've purposely or unwittingly trampled through some post breakup roadblock that she's installed. Post break up means she's done dealing with your shit on an emotional level, so leave her alone or be prepared to play nice.
Guy Facts (my interpretation thereof):
When a guy calls you,
1. He needs something, (ex: a ride, money, your presence for whatever reason,advice)
2. His phone accidentally misdialed.
3. He's incredibly bored and the internet's not working.
When a guy is quiet,
1. He's sleeping.
2. He's ill.
3. He's thinking about a witty comeback.
4. He's decided to go with the passive aggressive route.
When a guy is not arguing,
- He's preoccupied with more pressing concerns.
- He's decided to go with the passive agressive route.
-He really doesn't care about the subject matter.
When a guy says, "I'm fine, " after a few minutes,
-He's wondering why you asked.
When a guy stares at you,
-He's wondering what the hell is wrong with you.
-He's thinking that you're turning into your mom.
When you're laying your head on a guy's chest,
1. He's wondering what alien lifeform has abducted you and stolen your body.
2. He's wondering if he's going to have to pay for this later.
3. He's wondering if you're planning on being all friendly-like today, or if you're fixing to try to submit him.
4. He's thinking, "I'm gonna get some."
When a guy calls you everyday,
1. He is incredibly bored.
2. You are the first person on his phone list... or the other 548 people typically no longer answer his calls.
3. He's a co-worker.
4. His cell phone has a real problem with dialing on it's own.
5. He's a little metro.
6. You are his mom and he needs a ride home from school, practice, work, etc.
7. He's trying to get laid.
8. It's that "infatuation" stage of the relationship. Don't get used to it. It will pass.
When a (good) guy tells you he loves you,
1. He expects you to settle down immediatly, give up your dreams, and start popping out his babies.
2. He expects you to say it back, and there will be vast amounts of unspoken pressure until you do.
When a guy says he can't live without you,
1. It's that "infatuation" stage of the relationship. Don't get used to it. It will pass.
2. He's trying to get laid.
3. He likes your cooking.
4. You remind him of his mom.
5. He expects you to say it back.
6. He now expects you to spend time doing "his" things rather than your own hobbies/commiments/duties/occupations/interests.
When a guy says, "I miss you, "
-He missed you, but don't let it go to your head, he misses clean socks and crawfish when it's out of season. Everything's relative.
When a guy is mean to you after a breakup:
-He's jealous, because he still sees you as his property.
