Health and why I love to hate it

So for those who don't know or did not know I am getting over a nasty upper respiratory infection (No not swine flu but thanks for asking). This has been the first week where I have been remotely "functional" for about a month. The week before last was probably the worst... heh well that was actually part of the problem, instead of actually cooking for myself and eating correctly I was eating out and/or doing the frozen dinner thing.

It's amazing how much the sugar level in my blood can effect me. To high and I start getting grumpy and eventually sleepy. To low and I get nautious and shakey (And down right mean as well) and eventually pass out.

Yeah, being sick screws with your sugar.

Now taking metformin, while sick and not eating well can lead to all sorts of new levels of ....

Years ago I stayed in some motel which was close to be torn down for a week in Ocean City for the firemen's convention. When I got home I come down sick with a sinus infection. My guess was the air conditioning, a window unit over the door was never cleaned and I may have gotten it from that.
