So I'm not sure why this morning, but I went looking back through my faceup portfolio. I think it was because I saw my little "Temporarily Closed" commissions thread post and went looking. I've had some serious itching to work on a faceup since last weekend, but I've currently got too much going on that there's just no time. I'm thinking when/if

oh snap! Between you and debbie i don't know what happened with DollAkon but it makes me glad i was too busy to offer my time because it sounds like it would've been a wasted venture.

I hope to see your new cosplay at Akon, with all the work you've put into it I'm sure it's amazing! ^^

Time wasted would be maybe, but maybe not. I just think a lot of stuff could probably be handled better. I don't really like being accused of threatening someone because I simply said "You pull Debbie off my panel against her will, I don't want to do it."

Hope to see you at Akon. I'm really looking forward to coming back into cosplay this year. It feels so long and has been a few years since I've done anything so I'm really excited. I just wish I could motivate myself more and stop procrastinating.... too many distractions!

Are you going to enter the cosplay contest or the j-rock cosplay contest (if they're having one this year)?

It's nothing too terrible dramu wise, but there are things here and there that have drawn a WTF? I just chalk it up to there are some friends you can't do business with and conventions are business.

Well I'm hoping they're still keeping up jpop room cosplay cause that's what I'm making mine and lil Shannons KanonXKanon cosplays for. As usual I wish I'd had earlier notice of the headliner band cause we probably would have done Asagi & Ruiza from D if I hadn't already started Kanon ha ha.

So far my plans seem that my non cosplay and band event time will be helping out with the Baubles and Frills table. I would have ended up there anyway and they ended up needing an extra hand, so my badge situation got resolved quickly enough.

The whole new "My Dreamless Sleep" made me go "whut?" when I first saw it on the forums. I just did a quick DoA forum search for "My Dreamless Sleep", and your commissions page is about halfway down on the first page. They obviously didn't research the name.

When I finally decide on which kiddo to get next (trying to get the money for a Soom Shale before the sale ends, or a Glati if I can't get Shale) I'll bring him to you for a faceup, since I want a good one and mine aren't that great.

Yah it just really brings up the point that they wanna say they researched when they didn't or barely did. At least the girl was really nice about it, but somewhere it left me feeling like I'd just had mild identity theft... Awe I'm really happy you like my faceups. I'm still happy you gave me the opportunity to work on a pukipuki...still don't think I'll ever do any more pukis unless it's for people I know. I know right now I'll be spending a good part of the summer just refiguring out my style and materials and stuff, because I'm just not sure what I'm going for sometimes anymore and as said there's been a few things I've been a little unhappy about. I don't want to stop altogether though, I know that for sure.
