That is so messed up... There's a somewhat similar situation going on with my roommate. His girlfriend (fiance, actually) lives in North Carolina and doesn't like any of us here in Santa Barbara. She thinks that all the girls are whores and never gave any of us a chance. Yet, he's moving to NC in December to be with her.

I'm angry with the girlfriend, and if I were you, I'd be angry with the girlfriend of your story as well. I guess there is little to do about it, though, other than tell the platonic friend that you're pissed off. Then again, that just leaves things on a bad note... So I don't know, haha.

Well this wasn't much help.

thanks bri. yeah the entire situation pretty much sucks. this happened to me a little bit ago, and it turns out platonic male friend and girlfriend moved out of the country together, to a very very nice place that i wish i could go visit him in. i was really mad about the whole thing at first, but now i'm just sad and i miss my friend.

hey, by the way...where are you getting all your little miss sunshine icons. i heart them *sigh*

wow, someone very close to me was in a very similar situation...they ended up making their peace about it, eventually. i don't know if that makes you feel any better...it just took some time in their situation.

i would be upset toward both pmf and gf, mostly hurt. i don't know, since they're both out of the country now, i'd try to get a hold of them somehow and just explain how i felt, not anything lengthy, just saying, i really valued our friendship and i'm very sorry i never got the chance to get to know this important person in your life...

why is this such a popular thing?! why can't platonic male friends, females and girlfriends just all get along?

i relate to platonic female friend. girl friend needs to have some respect for herself and trust in her man. i hate overly jealous women. platonic male friend needs to grow a set of balls.

clearly the GF has issues and sees you as a threat...and who could blame her!?

you're just too darn fabulous for your own good:)

funny how sometimes these attributes can work against you.
