Thank you so much for commenting. I always love to know that someone has read my writing, whether it's a positive comment or negative. I posted the first chapter on Fanfiction.Net, and of the 110 people who read it, not one reviewed. :(

Was it excessively sad, though? (I am curious; it didn't even occur to me that it could be...)

Yeah, I know how that feels...I've done a bit myself, and I always felt down when nobody said anything. :(
