That second line made me seriously laugh out loud! Thankfully no on is home or else they would try to commit me to the mental hospital. But in all seriousness, is that dog ok? I can't really see how anal bleeding would be a normal thing.

i know - it was really sad...sadder yet that the owner just bought new area rugs yesterday.

the dog is ok - he's on medication. there is a bout of giardia going around, and luckily it's fairly easy to treat if you get it right away.
