Pinball Wizard

My visit to Pinball Wizard Arcade in Pelham, with pictures. This is a great place and I encourage any pinball freak with occasion to visit New England to go there. One of the happiest things was that I finally got to play a real Firepower, one of my favorite games from Pinball Hall of Fame on the Wii. The real one's tougher.

Oh, man.

I think that is the former Noah's Arkade collection.

The picture of the wall just makes me very damn happy.

They had a Doctor Who! That was one of the first ones I gravitated to, since I'd been itching to play one ever since the sketchy place at Downtown Crossing shut down.

It's a fairly tough game, clearly conceived as a spiritual successor to Pin*Bot; the equivalent of "PARTIAL LINKUP" is Sylvester McCoy saying "Ace, you have to active your console too."

...in fact, I think you can see the Dalek head in the distance in one of my photos.
