She's taking it pretty well. Radka, our remaining cat, was probably the one she liked the most (since Radka will actually play with her, and doesn't want to steal her food). And, at six, her conception of death is still a little shaky, though she seemed to accept the idea that they were going away and weren't going to come back to life.
...thanks again, everyone. I think the thing that's hardest to adjust to is that a significant amount of my daily time and mental energy was spent just dealing with our senior cats' increasingly elaborate medication and feeding routines. Now, in such a short period of time, that's just gone.
Radka won't even touch canned cat food if the dry stuff is available (and she did fine eating this way before we had to go to all wet stuff for Nestor), so even feeding her is trivial.
