i knew he would be found! ...but my little superstitious self didn't want to say 'everything will be fine, don't worry.' so glad. your babykitty is home!
I read this when you posted it and have come back half a million times, trying to figure out the perfect thing to say. I can't. I'm sad for you, and I'm worried for your precious Dingo
( ... )
a friend of mine on LJ had a cat missing for quite a while. then one day, it came home. much later, just one day showed up on the doorstep. serendipitously, just on the eve of him moving away! kitties know their homes, there is no doubt. dingo will be back.
i dunno i just thought it was hopeful, to me at least, because my aunt has had her cat lost for nearly a year, and she is a wonderful cat owner, always leaving a little bed out for him in case he comes home. she even made the front page of the michigan newspaper with her searching efforts... and i guess this gave me hope that she would still find him, not even if it was this way.
i can see what you mean though, and it's not meant to offend you, of course. i guess i just see a lot of people that arent aware of their immediate surroundings and expect it.
I lost my dog for three gut wrenching, heartbreaking, horrible days (a new roommate opened the door and let her slip out). I did find her, and I hope you find your Dingo...
