6 month anniversary

I like the weekend, although there is usually no distinct demarcation in my life that says "this is the weekend." It just feels lazier, especially with the dove-gray skies above, the light April rains, and the fuzzy headedness that follows a night of many gin tonics in the kitchen, accompanied by raucous laughter.

I am so grateful for these times.

I am proud of you! That sounds amazing. I think trees are so very wonderful and well worth being taken care of.

And should you ever decide to venture to Austin, Tx, I'll be glad to open my door. I suspect I'm a good tour guide of my home town.

Holy crap, that's a lot of accomplishments, lady!

How absolutely amazing to be able to design a medicinal garden at the American Botanical Council. Just wow.

I am so glad this move has been such a success for you.

And how the hell do you whittle down to 105 on gin tonics??? I am in awe.

Thank you! This has been a crazy time of "ask and you shall receive". I had been musing over how much I would like to design a therapeutic garden over the past couple of months, and yesterday a medical doctor called to ask me to design a garden for a musician suffering from stage 4 cancer.

Amazing.

The secret to my leanness? I work constantly, and only drink occasionally.

Aw, shucks, thanks. I want strawberry beds like yours, though.

I need to spend less time landscaping for other and more on my own home.

I have been busily working and outside with the trees lately. I recently started a new blog for art-related and growing-related posts, www.ebschwaller.blogspot.com . Other than art and trees, I haven't had a lot to say. But I still check here and occasionally do a sum-up on LJ. :)
