Clement Update

I've been researching more about Clement.  His great-grandmother and her neighbor were taken by an indian raiding party, and after walking about 150 miles through the woods for a week managed to kill and scalp 10 of their 12 captors and return home.  The Massachusetts General Assembly awarded them 50 pounds bounty, and Cotton Mather wrote about

Hey...this may be due to my cluelessness as of late, but...why Clement? Is it the obvious probability, or something more random? I gotta know.
