When I'm discussing a text, do I talk about it in the past or present tense? When ever I write things out the first time, I always use present, but then when I type it up, I switch to past.

I was just pondering this over here in the library. Aaron, the english major, seems to think that because the text still does whatever you say it is doing (Like, "this document shows") it should be in the present tense. So, "this document shows that women need to stay in the goddamn kitchen", rather than "this document showed etc."

I kinda agree, but I want to ask Westervelt for suresies.

Also, is crusade, as in THE CRUSADES always capitalized? I switch every sentence.

La la la la I don't want to be here la la la la
