Oh my God, you guys. If you ever want to take a trip down memory lane, I'd recommend going through ten years worth of emails on your fandom email account. I was going through my Yahoo account, forwarding emails to my Gmail that I wanted to save before deleting the Yahoo (it got hacked, which was the straw that broke the camel's back - I've needed

I was taking a trip down memory lane a few days ago looking at some of the first posts I made on LJ - and I reach my 10th LJ anniversary in May, so maybe I'll even post for the occasion :-P

It is interesting to look at who were good online (and offline) friends but are no longer, and the same with fandoms. Even if they come to an end, it all had its place in bringing us where we are now, so there is some value in it. What we do through it all is hone what we do/don't like and make sometimes unlikely friends along the way that stick.
