Hey Diary, I guess it was almost time to write something a little private away from the prying eyes out there. The people here are...honestly, pretty nice and interesting. Looks like this is a job for keeps.

Before I took the last train out from Osaka, I did waver for a minute over whether I was going to make it here. Of course, I was confident about my culinary skills but however, the people over here in the city are just a tad different from us and their pace is definitely a lot more faster compared to our laidback attitude back home. Well, I guess my doubts were uncalled for and it's probably just similar to pre-marital jitters, that kind of stuff.

I guess I do sort of miss the energy buzz I get when playing competitively. In the past, there was practically no time to be anxious or nervous about anything once it's your turn on the courts. We just had to grasp the opportunity and play our best so as to not leave any regrets, and having said that, you can be sure that I will definitely be giving this job my 101% effort as well.

Oh well, not too sure if the management minds at all about the extra electricity bills that I have probably been incurring due to the extra baking done after work but judging by the big boss's attitude, I am probably worrying for nothing. Not that I am going to unnecessarily take advantage of his generosity though.

On a lighter note, I was teased today for being too serious about my work. All work and no play makes one dull, huh. I guess I just temporarily forgot and got absorbed into the fast pace of my surroundings. I guess it would only be right to hang out with my co-workers sometimes. They are a pretty fun bunch after all.

So, until the next time, peace out.
