I got an eyebrow wax and haircut today. After growing out my hair for several years, I had at least ten inches cut off today--I now have a just-past-the-chin-length not-quite-bob. It kind of looks like this:

i just did the exact same thing to my hair on saturday -- cut 11 inches and made it into a bob with long, sideswept bangs. i donated to locks of love, which was the impetus for cutting my hair in the first place.

'Tis the season, I think--a classmate of mine chopped off her long ponytail a few weeks ago. I'm sad that there are no tax benefits.

There are, actually. If you itemize your deductions, the haircut is tax deductible, as is the mileage to the salon.
